Desired Characteristics:


=> 8 years related work experience either in electrical engineering or field service.
=> Familiarity with O&G products.
=> Knowledge of electrical machine Basic Rotor dynamic design / trouble-shooting.

=> Knowledge of electrical systems dynamic analysis and software simulation.
=> GB qualification. (GE employees only).

Designing of Converters, Inverters, UPS, Variable Speed Drive Systems with in depth knowledge of Semiconductor devices like IGBT, Thyristors, diodes etc.

* Development of Engineering specifications for electrical equipment & systems used in Float Glass plants using reference documents, performance reports, data collection and International standards & codes.
* Benchmarking of Electrical equipment and systems in SGG Plants globally

Should have experience in Design, Development and Testing of Analog, Digital and Mixed Signal Circuits and Boards.Firmware development for board bring-up and testing.Should have hands on tools like ADSP21160, OMAP5912, MSP430, HCS12, HC08,Orcad.

Some background / experience for R & D design will be helpful.
Background of designing for high reliability electronic products is relevant.
Exposure to designing for aeronautic, space and aerospace will be a major plus.
